Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 68 km railway line that links the Majuba power station to the main coal railway hub in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, and includes 96 culverts, nine cattle creeps, 32 agricultural underpasses and over-passes, 18 bridges, one service duct and 40 cattle grids.

Capital Expenditure
About $402-million, of which Eskom has contributed $132-million in financing. The World Bank loaned $270-million, which is currently in repayment.
