Project Description
The Norfolk Wind Zone comprises the Norfolk Vanguard and Norfolk Boreas offshore wind farms.

The planned 3.6 GW total installed capacity will make this one of the biggest offshore zones in the world at the time of completion.

The project will comprise between 180 and 312 turbines. The grid connection infrastructure will use high-voltage direct current (HVDC) technology. The project will prevent the emission of six-million tonnes a year of carbon dioxide.

Potential Job Creation
About 150 jobs are expected to be created once the wind zone is operational. At peak onshore construction over 400 jobs will be created.
