Imperial plans to build the biggest renewable diesel manufacturing facility in Canada.

First announced in August 2021, it will produce more than one-billion litres a year of renewable diesel from local feedstocks and remove the equivalent of more than 650 000 cars off the road a year.

The project is expected to create about 600 direct construction jobs, along with hundreds more through investments by business partners.
