Project Description
The project aims to build a liquid CO2 terminal that can be used by customers not connected to a CO2 pipeline to ship liquid CO2

The terminal will be a critical piece of CO2 infrastructure that can be leveraged as part of the carbon capture and storage (CCS) chain.

It will have a launch capacity of about 5.4-million tonnes a year, with the potential to increase to about 15-million tonnes a year, depending on market demand and the development of the Aramis CCS project and other CCS chains.

The Aramis CCS project aims to transport CO2 to depleted offshore gasfields under the North Sea.

Planned Start/End Date
The final investment decision is expected in 2025. The terminal is forecast to start commercial operations in 2028.
