Location
The OML 58 onshore licence area, in Nigeria, about 80 km north-west of Port Harcourt, in Rivers state.

Project Owner/s
TotalEnergies, operator of the OML 58 onshore licence, with a 40% interest, together with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, with a 60% interest.

Project Description
Ubeta is a low-emission and -cost development, leveraging on OML58 existing gas processing facilities. The OML 58 licence currently comprises the Obagi oilfield and the Ibewa gas and condensate field.

The Ubeta gas condensate field will be developed with a new six-well cluster connected to the existing Obite facilities through an 11 km buried pipeline.

The project will have a production plateau of about 70 000 bbl/d of oil, including condensates. Gas from Ubeta will be supplied to Nigeria LNG plant, a liquefaction plant in Bonny Island with an ongoing capacity expansion from 22-million tonnes a year to 30-million tonnes a year, in which TotalEnergies holds a 15% interest.
