Advanced Fire Global strengthens its leadership in vehicle fire suppression industry
Fire suppression solutions provider Advanced Fire Global continues to cement its position as Africa’s leading fire suppression solutions provider, driven by exceptional growth, strategic expansion, and the continuous rollout of ANSUL NF-40 LVS vehicle fire suppression systems across the continent.
Over the past months, Advanced Fire Global has secured multiple flagship ANSUL projects across West Africa, marking one of the most significant periods of growth in the company’s 25-year history. These wins reflect the trust placed in Advanced Fire Global by some of the world’s largest mining houses and demonstrate the company’s unwavering commitment to reliable systems, professional installations, and world-class maintenance support.
Its ongoing investments in localised service capacity, in-country stockholding, client training, and technical excellence have strengthened its footprint in key mining jurisdictions such as Mauritania, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire, ensuring that clients receive fast, competent and compliant support — no matter how remote the operation.
The Standard in Mining Fire Protection
The ANSUL NF-40 LVS system remains the preferred choice for heavy-duty mining equipment across Africa. Backed by FM 5970 HDME approval and engineered for the continent’s harshest conditions, ANSUL provides industry-leading protection for both personnel and assets.
Advanced Fire Global’s continued installation success across multiple new mine sites proves once again that Africa’s mining sector trusts ANSUL and trusts Advanced Fire Global to deliver it professionally, safely and on time.
With the rise of various competitors in recent years, mining clients have had the opportunity to explore different products and service providers. While this has offered greater choice, it has also exposed many operations to several risks. These include inexperienced installation teams, non-compliant system designs, inferior product performance, limited technical support and training, and the underspecification of system sizes.
Through experience, education, and firsthand exposure to these challenges, clients across the continent have increasingly returned to the trusted brand ANSUL and the world-class service offered by Advanced Fire Global. This renewed confidence highlights the importance of compliance, technical expertise and proven system reliability in safeguarding high-risk mining environments.
Growing the African Network
Advanced Fire Global now supports customers in more than 30 African countries and Madagascar with offices and distribution partners in 13 nations. Recent strategic partnerships include Group IBS in Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal, as well as Local Flexibles in Mauritania, further strengthening its regional presence. These partners benefit from Advanced Fire Global’s technical oversight, training programmes, and stringent quality standards, ensuring consistent service across all territories.
In line with its mission to uplift emergency response capability across the mining and industrial sectors, Advanced Fire Global, together with its sister company Rural Metro, is finalising the development of what will be one of the largest and most advanced emergency response training facilities on the African continent.
Located in Heidelberg, South Africa, this world-class centre will host comprehensive firefighter training, mine rescue and emergency response programmes, technical and scenario-based preparedness simulations, and IFSAC-certified training through Rural Metro.
The company anticipates the facility to be fully operational by March 2026, setting a new benchmark for emergency response excellence in Africa and providing much-needed capacity-building for the mining sector.
Engineering, Technical Support & Integrated Safety Services
Supported by the Advanced Group of Companies, its capabilities extend far beyond fire suppression. These include manufacturing specialised firefighting and rescue vehicles, supplying petrochemical-grade pumping units, providing certified firefighter and emergency-response training, and supporting mines with on-site emergency response teams and equipment.
This integrated ecosystem allows Advanced Fire Global to deliver holistic, compliant, and reliable safety solutions across Africa’s most demanding operations.
With new projects secured, new partners established, and new technologies launched, including the FM 5970 HDME-approved MS-2+ Detection & Control Panel, Advanced Fire Global is positioned for another remarkable year of expansion across Africa.
Its commitment remains clear, to deliver proven, compliant and reliable safety solutions, backed by the highest levels of service, to every client, every time.
As CEO Westley Barnardt affirms: “Our customers are not just customers, they are part of the Advanced Fire Global family. We grow because they trust us, and we honour that trust by continuing to deliver the very best in fire-suppression systems, technical support, and mining safety solutions across Africa.”
