Messe Muenchen South Africa has announced that AECI Water has confirmed its diamond sponsorship of the co-located trade fairs - IFAT Africa, analytica Lab Africa and food & drink technology Africa, taking place from 13 – 15 July 2021 at Gallagher Convention Centre.

Dean Mulqueeny, Group Executive – Water for AECI Water, says: “Being a business with a purpose, we work to ensure water and food security in sub-Saharan Africa, and it is in our nature to bring together the private sector and parastatals across industries. We see IFAT Africa, analytica Lab Africa and food & drink technology Africa as an ideal forum for both overlapping and complementary sectors, where private and public sector stakeholders from across Africa come together to learn, share and discuss experiences. Our own organisation continually tries to find ways to foster closer engagement between the private and public sectors working to achieve common and sustainable goals.  A co-location like this event can be an important platform for broader engagement.”

He notes that AECI Water develops integrated solutions to enhance equipment integrity, process efficiency and product quality, whilst minimising water usage and waste generation to help customers manage and optimise their water resources and process challenges across industries and municipalities.

Suzette Scheepers, Messe Muenchen South Africa CEO, says: "We are delighted to welcome AECI Water aboard as our diamond sponsor, particularly since the company's work and focus areas align perfectly with the themes and sectors of our co-located events address."

IFAT Africa, food & drink technology Africa and analytica Lab Africa, to be co-located at the Gallagher Convention Centre from July 13 – 15, 2021, will convene thousands of stakeholders across overlapping sectors including food and drink production, science, laboratory technology,  manufacturing, water and wastewater treatment, waste management, recycling and renewable energy solutions.

IFAT Africa is the leading trade fair for water, sewage, refuse and recycling in Southern Africa, featuring solutions from around the world and a high-calibre forum programme addressing trends, challenges and solutions from the water, sewage, refuse and recycling sectors.
