A chemically operated automatic lubricator is said to offer simple and trouble-free operation and can be used for most applications – both large and small, and even underwater.

The GREASE MAX lubricator is designed to be screwed into the bearing grease nipple seating, or onto an extension line. It feeds lubricant at a constant rate for a set period of time. The lubricator has four operating periods, namely one, three or six and 12 months. After the service time has elapsed, the unit is replaced with a new unit.

Changeovers of GREASE MAX lubricators can be planned and carried out at set periods. As it is self-regulating, the lubricator should be used in conjunction with a set plant maintenance schedule. The units have no electrical or mechanical components and only one moving part, which is the piston. This design is said to make GREASE MAX lubricators particularly reliable.

GREASE MAX automatic lubricators are imported directly from Delta International Sales in Germany and are supplied to Southern Africa by SCC Products as the sole importer and distributor for the region.

The lubricator is designed to be easily installed and activated, and feed lines up to 1.5 m can be used.

The use of automatic lubricators reduces work load and the risk of exposure to physical harm. In addition, change-overs can be planned without the need for plant operations or equipment to be shut down. This helps improve production as equipment remains online.
