LONGi secures top honors at the 2025 TÜV Rheinland “All Quality Matters” Awards, reaffirming its leadership in photovoltaic technology, product quality, and value-driven innovation.
Multiple Honors Highlighting Excellence
On September 24, the 2025 TÜV Rheinland “All Quality Matters” Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Awards Ceremony concluded in Changzhou, Jiangsu. At the event, LONGi’s BC modules won multiple prestigious accolades.
The Hi-MO 9, developed for utility-scale projects, claimed the highest distinction—the “All Quality Matters PV Module Award”—for its flawless quality and exceptional performance. Meanwhile, the Hi-MO X10 lightweight module and Hi-MO X6 Max anti-dust single-glass module earned the “Lightweight PV Module Award” and the “Outdoor Energy Yield Award.”
This marks the ninth consecutive year LONGi has received TÜV Rheinland awards, reaffirming its benchmark position in product quality and technology leadership.
Hi-MO 9: Redefining Utility-Scale Standards
LONGi’s flagship Hi-MO 9 owes its recognition to self-developed second-generation BC high-efficiency technology. Dennsi She,Vice President of LONGi,noted that the module has been widely adopted by global leaders such as ENGIE, Nofar Energy, and Yinson, demonstrating its strong value contribution to utility-scale projects.
In rigorous field tests, Hi-MO 9 consistently outperformed TOPCon products. At a demonstration site in Bayan Nur, Inner Mongolia, its power output per kilowatt exceeded TOPCon by 2.45%, while energy yield per unit area was 9.05% higher. Even during prolonged rainy periods, Hi-MO 9 maintained superior daily generation, delivering a monthly gain of 2.44%.
Independent validation from Enertis Applus+ and IPVF in Spain and France confirmed Hi-MO 9’s LCOE advantages, further strengthening its reputation as a high-value solution for global developers.
BC Technology Driving Industry Transformation
LONGi Vice President Dennis She emphasized the urgent need for higher standards and innovation in the PV sector:
“The PV industry needs stronger product standards to create greater value for customers. LONGi’s BC technology, refined over eight years, delivers outstanding performance, safety, and reliability. We believe BC can serve as a model for the industry to move beyond excessive competition.”
“Short-term challenges should not obscure the industry’s long-term fundamentals. The PV sector remains on a clear upward trajectory, and differentiated innovation will be the key to sustainable growth.” Dennis added.
LONGi’s triumph at the 2025 TÜV Rheinland awards—spanning both utility-scale and distributed applications—provides authoritative recognition of its product excellence and reflects a broader industry shift from price-driven rivalry to value-based competition.
With its continued iteration and large-scale deployment of BC technology, LONGi is charting a course for the PV sector to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and accelerate the global transition to clean, low-carbon energy.
