Through their commitment to shaping a sustainable energy landscape and promoting inclusive economic growth in South Africa, we are pleased to introduce Energy Council of South Africa as Association Partner at the DEVAC HYDROGEN-H INDABA to be held on 18 - 19 September 2024 at the HN Sandton (F.K.A Hilton Sandton) in Johannesburg, South Africa under the theme "exploring practical hydrogen developments and opportunities for Africa’s economic expansion".

The Energy Council of South Africa was established in 2022 and plays a leadership role in South Africa’s energy sector, drives stakeholder and policy alignment, and assists in addressing major issues in the energy landscape for inclusive economic growth.
We serve as the collective, unified voice of the energy sector in South Africa and work closely with both the public and private sector to address major energy sector matters.

The Energy Council supports South Africa’s commitments under the UNFCCC Paris agreement and our country’s climate legislation aimed at achieving Net Zero by 2050, and further recognises the critical importance of a successful national energy transition in meeting those decarbonisation targets whilst maintaining energy security.
