Develon-Fest on display

Develon – formerly Doosan – hosted an open day event recently, at its premises in Isando, Johannesburg.
This was a traditional Oktober-Fest with a difference. Instead of an oompah brass band, leather breeches – lederhosen - and dames decked out in dirndls, gigantic orange coloured Develon construction machines were the highlight of the Develon-Fest.
Guests were invited to closely inspect these impressive machines; to enjoy an array of well-chilled beer and feast on fest styled gastronomic delights. A highlight of the event was an address by economist Dawie Roodt, who presented practical tips on overcoming some challenges in South Africa.
“This event was the perfect opportunity for the Develon team to network with customers – mostly from plant hire, construction, agriculture and mining sectors,” explains Johann Viljoen - National Sales Manager, Develon South Africa. “Our relationships with customers are important and we’re committed to providing the best possible service and support to everyone we work with.
“Our customers know that Develon machines guarantee efficient output power, fuel efficiency and low emissions, as well as operator safety, comfort and precise control. But it also important for our customers to be able to rely on dependable turnkey solutions for new equipment, spare parts and technical support.”
Develon maintains its strong position in a highly competitive sector, through a sound reputation for environmentally-friendly, fuel efficient engines, a robust chassis structure, quality components and advanced features for easy serviceability that reduce downtime.
Develon is the official distributor of Develon, Tonly and Everdigm equipment and attachments throughout Southern Africa.
The Develon range includes excavators, articulated dump trucks (ADT’s) and wheel loaders., that perfectly suits exact requirements in all tough African conditions.
A critical part of the company’s service is providing a technical advisory, repair, maintenance and spare parts service, through a national network of branches and carefully selected distributors.
