Citi-Con has again sealed the deal, successfully completing technically complex silo bin repairs to the most stringent design and performance specifications for a leading steward of raw materials for food production.

Based on the project’s successful delivery – completed on schedule and within the approved budget – our client has expressed full confidence in recommending Citi-Con for future specialist silo repair and similarly demanding projects.

“Citi-Con’s proven expertise in specialist silo repair, combined with the company’s ability to deliver complex work safely, on time, and within budget, makes it a highly reliable and valued service provider,” the client stated.

Executed across multiple sites, the repairs were carried out with a high degree of professionalism and exceeded expectations in several areas. In particular, the client highlighted Citi-Con’s meticulous coordination of activities at significant heights, exact measurements, and accurate drilling to meet precise engineering criteria. These capabilities, alongside the company’s broader strengths, continue to build on our long legacy of delivering state-of-the-art solutions that extend the service life of critical production assets.

“The complexity of the silo repair works – including extremely tight tolerances – was managed efficiently and with remarkable skill,” the client noted.

As with all Citi-Con projects, safety remained a top priority. The client confirmed that Citi-Con maintained a robust safety culture, ensuring all repair activities were executed in a controlled and responsible manner with full regard for personnel, equipment, and the surrounding environment.

Furthermore, the company also praised Citi-Con’s effective communication – instrumental for successful project delivery especially when working in operational areas. Regular updates – including site photographs and queries requiring clarification or approval – were shared promptly. Citi-Con’s proactive use of digital technology was described as instrumental in achieving faster response times, greater transparency, and seamless collaboration among all parties.

“This project further cements Citi-Con’s growing reputation as a leading specialist in silo repair and high-precision structural repair work within Africa,” Andre Vermeulen, CEO of Citi-Con, concludes.
