Project Owner/s
Gato do Mato Consortium, which includes Shell Brasil Petróleo, a subsidiary of Shell (operator, with a 50% stake), Ecopetrol (30%) and TotalEnergies (20%), with Pré-Sal Petróleo SA acting as the manager of the production-sharing contract.

Project Description
The current recoverable resource volumes of the development are estimated at 370-million barrels. 

Initial operations will involve the reinjection of natural gas for reservoir pressure support, with future optionality to export gas to onshore facilities. 

The project includes the installation of a floating production storage and offloading vessel designed to produce up to 120 000 bbl/d of oil.
