Industrial automation on show
Industry-specific automation solutions designed to optimise productivity, enhance quality, and reduce operational losses will be exhibited at the upcoming KwaZulu-Natal Industrial Exhibition (KITE) 2025.
Industrial control and automation technology specialist Hybrid Automation has developed tailored systems that address specific challenges across various sectors. By integrating cutting-edge technology and intelligent design, the company aims to help industries streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making.
The Durban-based company will be showcasing its palletising cobot at the KITE 2025, to be held in Durban from 22 to 24 July.
A cobot palletiser is a collaborative robot designed to work safely alongside humans. It automates pallet stacking and is programmed to pick up individual items and stack them onto a pallet in a specified arrangement.
As an approved Siemens global solutions partner that specialises in automation projects, Hybrid Automation provides a range of turnkey solutions to an international client base. It also focusses on the implementation of overall equipment effectiveness, or OEE, systems to measure and improve the efficiency of equipment and manufacturing processes, supervisory control and data acquisition, or SCADA, to monitor and control industrial processes, as well as the supply, installation and commissioning of automation and drives, process instrumentation and motion control.
