Kinross exits White Gold stake with C$6.9m share sale

Canadian miner Kinross Gold has divested its entire equity interest in White Gold, selling 23.68-million shares for C$6.87-million.

The shares, representing about 12% of White Gold’s outstanding stock, were sold at an average price of C$0.29 each, excluding commissions, the company said in a statement Friday.

White Gold is a Yukon-focused exploration company.
