Location
On the brownfield site of the historic Neptune Bank Power Station, in Wallsend, North Tyneside, in the north-east of England, in the UK.

Project Owner/s
Lhyfe, with support from Shepherd Offshore.

Project Description
The project will cut thousands of tonnes of carbon dioxide, thereby supporting the UK’s net-zero ambitions. If plans are approved, Lhyfe’s facility would have an initial capacity of 20 MW and be capable of producing up to 8 t/d of green hydrogen. The project will use green electricity from the grid.
