Industrial solutions provider Mechanical Rotating Solutions (MRS) has teamed up with industrial equipment supplier Verder Pumps South Africa as a service and distribution partner.

Since the company was established in South Africa in 2002, Verder Pumps South Africa has grown to become “a leading pumps supplier” throughout South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.

The company’s range of industrial pumps can assist with any application and include peristaltic hose and tube pumps, air-operated diaphragm pumps, magdrive centrifugal pumps and piston diaphragm pumps.

MRS highlights that Verder Pumps South Africa prides itself on its range of quality, seal-less industrial pumps which, over the years, have earned the company “an outstanding reputation” in industry.

Being appointed to the network of accredited distributors ensures that MRS has access to the full product range available from Verder Pumps South Africa, as well as support from its unlimited access to the Verder Group’s international technical and support network.

This, in turn, will ensure that the end-user is provided with a comprehensive and value-added service on Verder’s complete range of pumps.

MRS MD Franscois Steenkamp says MRS is well placed to deliver the best service and product support to the growing customer base of Verder Pumps South Africa.

“MRS has been an active player in the pumps, valves and rotating solutions industry for more than a decade and has a proven record of dependable customer service, coupled with the best product fit for our customers’ needs.”

Adding the Verder Pumps South Africa range to accredited distributor MRS’ product offering is significant because it increases product choice available to customers and ensures that MRS can service and supply new, as well as existing, Verder products.

Verder Pumps South Africa MD Darryl Macdougall notes that the company is pleased to bring MRS on board as a distribution partner.

“Mpumalanga – which MRS services – presents significant growth opportunities for our business. Also, MRS holds valuable local market knowledge on the needs of their customers that will support our ambitions. This appointment also creates opportunities for MRS to further expand its solution offerings to their customers,” says Macdougall.

Verder’s pumping solutions are used at various mining sites in South Africa and wider Africa, including a copper project in Democratic Republic of Congo, and gold projects in Ghana and South Sudan.

Growing its network of local facilities and distributor partners enables Verder Pumps South Africa to offer a range of durable industrial pumps, pumping systems and high-tech equipment, as well as in-house service and maintenance, across sub-Saharan Africa.
