MTN named South Africa’s most admired brand for 2025
Telecommunications group MTN has been named South Africa’s most admired brand, as well as the best telecommunications brand, for 2025 by Brand Africa.
“This recognition is a powerful affirmation of the trust our customers place in us and the relentless dedication of our employees and partners,” said MTN South Africa CEO Charles Molapisi, noting that it reflects MTN’s enduring brand leadership, customer trust and consistent performance in delivering reliable, innovative connectivity.
“We are honoured to remain at the forefront of South Africa’s telecommunications landscape, and we dedicate this milestone to our loyal customers, whose confidence inspires us to continuously raise the bar.”
Molapisi also highlighted the essential contributions of MTN’s employees and partners, pointing to its people as the backbone of MTN’s success, commenting that their commitment and drive ensure the company delivers excellence at every touchpoint.
He further pointed to MTN’s partners having played vital roles in driving the group’s innovation and expanding its network.
“We are a truly and proudly South African brand. We understand the heartbeat of this country and its people, and we remain deeply committed to driving progress that matters to them. Through our best network, forward-thinking innovation and compelling value propositions, we strive to make everyday connections easier, faster and more meaningful,” continued Molapisi.
This latest recognition reaffirms MTN’s position as an industry leader, committed to delivering value, empowering communities, and driving digital transformation across South Africa.
