Location
Luminora Solar Tres will be located in the municipalities of Murcia and Torre Pacheco, in Spain.
The Fuente Álamo I and II plants will be located in Murcia.
Project Owner/s
French multinational integrated energy and petroleum company TotalEnergies and specialist in PV projects Soltec.
Project Description
The project entails the construction of three new PV plants.
The proposed plants will have a total capacity of 116 MWp – sufficient clean energy to supply 30 500 homes.
The new PV plants will avoid the emission of about 4 500 t/y of CO₂.
Luminora Solar Tres will have a capacity of 95 MWp. The plant will be equipped with a substation and a 5 km overhead line to transport the generated energy. The plant will comprise an estimated 150 000 state-of-the-art bifacial tracking solar panels. The plant will reduce CO₂ emissions by 3 700 t/y.
Fuente Álamo I and II plants will have a combined capacity of 21 MWp and an 8 km medium-voltage line. The facilities will avoid the emission of 800 t/y of CO₂ using more than 33 000 bifacial solar panels.
Potential Job Creation
Construction and operation of the solar facilities will create about 350 direct jobs and will encourage the use of high-efficiency technologies.
