Project Description
Parque Eólico Gofio is a proposed 50 MW floating offfshore wind project.
The project is located in one of the highest wind resource areas in Europe and will comprise four 12.5 MW offshore wind turbines on top of floating foundations. Energy will be delivered through submarine cables.
The energy produced by Parque Eólico Gofio will be enough to supply about 70 000 households and avoid the equivalent of 140 000 t/y of carbon dioxide emissions.
