Accounting, financial, human resources (HR) and payroll technology company Sage has launched its cloud-based integrated Sage HR & Payroll Advanced solution for mid-market companies in South Africa.

Targeted at organisations with complex payroll needs, the software aims to help mid-sized businesses simplify the payment and management of employees by automating and streamlining HR and payroll tasks––from recruitment, onboarding, time-tracking and compliant payroll processes, to leave management, performance management, and employee expense claims.

Businesses can tailor the software to fit specific payroll processes, reporting needs and integration requirements. The solution can deliver data, insights and analytics to identify trends across the business. It also allows employees to manage personal information, documents, time off, expenses, payslips and performance in the Sage HR mobile app.

The new solution aims to address the growing demand for technology that helps HR and payroll teams streamline administration, as outlined by Sage’s ‘The Changing Face of HR’ report.

“Sage HR & Payroll Advanced allows businesses to access and manage everything they need from a single digital platform in the cloud. It’s a scalable solution for larger payroll and HR teams that enables them to be fully hands-on with easy batching and automating the hard stuff—delivering amazing work-life experiences for everyone in the process,” says Sage Africa & Middle East VP: medium business Gerhard Hartman.
