Place your bid on cranes and more from MHPS Africa
This article has been supplied.
It’s not every day that one of Africa’s largest players in the construction of fossil fuel-fired power plants goes to auction with one of its biggest crawler cranes. Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Africa (MHPS Africa) have mandated GoIndustry DoveBid S.A to dispose of their surplus assets, which include the massive 250 ton Kobelco crawler crane and a number of Tadano rough terrain cranes. Further well-maintained construction and engineering equipment will be on offer, such as a wheelabrator shotblast, a hydraulic shear, welders, tractors, flatdeck and double axle trailers, forklifts and various ancillary equipment.
This isn’t the first time that GoIndustry DoveBidSA has partnered with MHPS Africa, and the success of the previous auction, held in January 2018, is a testament to exceptional team work and dedication. Auction expert and Associate Director, John Taylor, is confident that this next auction, closing from 29 August 2018, will be an even greater success story. “GoIndustry DoveBid S.A is a subsidiary of Liquidity Services that operate a network of global e-commerce marketplaces offering over 500 product categories,” Taylor explains. “We thus have the ability to expose any type of asset to the appropriate marketplace on both a national and global scale, with these particular assets being no exception.”
MHPS Africa is a subsidiary of the German-based Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe GmbH, and executes the manufacturing, supply, construction and commissioning of fossil fuel-fired power plants as well as steam and gas turbines in the Southern African region. The company also supplies key components such as air quality control systems, coal mills and feeders and provides engineering services.
