Invicta Holdings Limited’s specialist automotive division has recently been restructured, with the establishment of Universal Parts Group (UPG) comprising Autobax, Driveshaft Parts and IMEXPART UK, which was acquired in July 2023.
Automotive, agricultural and heavy-duty after-market specialists – UPG - supplies parts for passenger cars, light commercial, heavy-duty, off-highway and agricultural vehicles and also supports heavy-duty vehicles used in industrial sectors.
“Apart from the distribution of well-known brands like Gates, Europart, Timken, NTN, MRK, NSK, Tirsan, Gomet, Pivotal, Walterscheid, APG and Spicer, STC components form an important part of our range – particularly for passenger vehicles,” explains Tyron Price, Product Manager, Universal Parts Group. “Our exclusive in-house STC portfolio comprises a broad range of tensioners and idlers, wheel bearing kits, timing chain kits and oil pumps.
“What’s notable about the STC brand, is each product range is carefully selected by UPG experts from leading global manufacturers, in terms of stringent quality controls, advanced materials and dependable support. Our customers have the assurance that each component meets OEM requirements in terms of specified radial clearances, internal tolerances and temperature ratings of lubricants and seals.
“Our pledge to customers to supply only quality branded components that play a critical role in improving safety standards and extending the service life of automotive, agricultural and heavy-duty vehicles.”
STC components are available from reputable automotive spares dealers throughout Southern Africa, with support from UPG, which has consolidated its four local operations into one highly efficient facility in each major centre - Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Durban. All UPG distribution centres are equipped with advanced inventory management and dispatching systems.
The company is committed to continue expanding its product range and solutions offering, to meet growing demand for quality components and technical support in Southern Africa, the United Kingdom, Poland and Ukraine.
