The flagship Khomanani facility in South Africa, a state-of-the-art 62 000 m² site, exemplifies Sandvik’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. This site hosts three specialised workshops dedicated to refurbishing and rebuilding equipment, assembling locally-configured machinery and remanufacturing machines to original equipment manufacturer standards. The investment in local manufacturing capacity supports the company’s focus on sustainability and contribution to the development of local skills, job creation and to increase local procurement.
