As part of an ongoing organisational transformation, State-owned Sentech has appointed several new leaders to drive a shift in its operating model towards a business and customer-focused model that is targeting to enhance strategy delivery, good governance and accountability.

Clarinda Simpson has been appointed as CFO following the end of term of the former CFO Rudzani Rasikhinya, who served the organisation diligently.

Further, Sentech reorganised its leadership structure to strengthen commercial focus and operational efficiency.

The new appointments include Flenk Mnisi as chief commercial officer for the satellite business; Marlon Finnis as chief commercial officer of managed infrastructure services; Kopano Thage as chief commercial officer for the media business; Marius Venter as chief commercial officer for the broadband business; and Nomahlubi Ogoh as chief information officer.

“These appointments form part of Sentech’s broader organisational redesign aimed at unlocking growth across its core business verticals: media distribution, broadband, satellite and managed infrastructure,” said Sentech CEO Tebogo Leshope.
