Sephaku warns of lower interim earnings
Construction materials company Sephaku Holdings (SepHold) expects to report a 24% to 32% year-on-year decrease in its basic earnings per share (BEPS) for the six months ended September 30.
The company, whose subsidiaries are Métier Mixed Concrete and Dangote Cement SepCem, says BEPS are likely to be between 7.12c and 7.96c, compared with the BEPS of 10.51c reported for the six months ended September 30, 2022.
Headline earnings per share (HEPS), meanwhile, are expected to decrease by between 27% and 35% year-on-year to between 7.32c and 8.21c, compared with the HEPS of 11.36c reported for the prior comparable period.
The company will publish its results for the interim period on November 14.
