Pragma is proud to announce that we have taken two out of five overall award categories and a special recognition award at the 2018 Shell Network Partner Awards. The Shell Network Partner Awards rewards service providers and third-party contractors for the roles they play in the successful delivery of Shell’s strategic and service delivery goals.

Highlighting one of Pragma’s core strengths, our team clinched the Safety & Compliance Super Star and the Awesome Invention awards.

Safety & Compliance Super Star

In this category, Pragma showed its exceptional commitment to HSSE & Compliance for Shell by reducing their loss of primary containment (a pump or tank fuel leak) with a 94% spilled volume, while improving our L3 contractors’ competency and increasing asset integrity.

Awesome Invention

In the Awesome Invention category, our team was recognised for their innovative thinking and commitment to continuous improvement. This award was landed by our Focused Improvement team, when they designed and ensured that Shell’s new customer service units are practical, in line with Shell marketing strategy and supplied within minimal lead time at half the cost compared to older models.

Special Recognition award

Fittingly, Zinhle Boltina, one of Pragma’s asset care schedulers working on the Shell client team, also received a special recognition award for the exceptional work she has done. Zinhle managed to deliver an Opex Plan despite a budget cut and achieving more planned activities than the original target. She did all of this and still produced a saving of R800k on Opex for scheduled services.
