Date: 8 – 11 July 2024

Location: CSIR ICC, Pretoria

The 42nd annual Southern African Transport Conference (SATC) is the longest-running and most important transport conference on the continent, bringing together experts, professionals, and stakeholders in the transport industry to discuss current challenges and future trends.

The SATC attracts 700 delegates each year. Everyone in any way connected with transport is invited, but it is of particular interest to funding agencies, municipal, provincial and national government, parastatals, policy- and decision-makers, academics, researchers, students and transport professionals. It will be of relevance to people active in the planning, construction, manufacturing, logistics, operations and safety areas of passenger and freight transport, road traffic, rail, maritime and aviation.

This year's conference theme is "Upskilling and Reskilling the Transport Industry for Current and Future Challenges." The conference will feature keynote speakers, plenary sessions, panel discussions, and technical presentations.

The SATC is an excellent opportunity for professionals in the transport industry to network, share knowledge, and learn about the latest trends and technologies. It is also an opportunity for stakeholders to shape the future of the industry by discussing solutions to current challenges and identifying opportunities for growth.

If you are interested in attending the SATC, registration is now open. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of shaping the future of the transport industry in Southern Africa. Join us at the SATC and be part of the conversation.
