Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 182 MW solar project, which will produce enough clean energy to power about 33 800 Illinois homes a year.
Potential Job Creation
The project aims to create an estimated 300 construction jobs, with the majority being local appointments in collaboration with area unions, including carpenters, operators and electricians.
Capital Expenditure
$345-million.
Planned Start/End Date
Construction started in January 2025.
