Water for rural Botswana: From dam to tap

Water- A scarce resource in many parts of Africa and a growing concern across the globe. In Botswana, water scarcity is a real crisis created by an increasing population, inevitably leading to a sharp increase in water demand and a low and inconsistent rainfall.

Siemens South Africa together with its Solution partner in Botswana, Moreflow, was able to assist with these challenges. Powered by Siemens automation and drive technology, the dam is now able to deliver 11 million litres of clean and safe drinking water to the residents of the rural Bobirwa district in Botswana, every day.
