Pinpoint Stewards will be hosting the 3rd Annual Women and Leadership in Government and State Owned enterprises conference, with the theme: it’s DUE – Develop, Unite and Empower. Taking place at the prestigious NH Collection Hotel, Sandton on 26-27 November, bringing women in Government and SOE’s together, with one goal in mind, to inspire women to take up top leadership positions across all spheres of government.
“The African continent has seen women such as Ellen Johnson Sirleaf former president of Liberia and Joyce Banda, former president of Malawi lead, however a female president for South Africa remains elusive”, says organiser, Sudhira Sewsunker, Pinpoint Stewards. She adds, “ other than creating a politically objective platform we, together with media partners, aim to profile women contributing as leaders in Governments and SOE’s, with the ultimate goal, in the not-too distant future, to steer the country and its voters towards appointing the first female president”.
