Air Products South Africa is attending the Global African Hydrogen Summit in Namibia this month, where it will share its  growing role in the hydrogen sector.

In an interview over Zoom, Air Products South Africa MD Charles Dos Santos outlines the company’s capabilities and vision for advancing the Southern African hydrogen economy.

He unpacks Air Products’ position in the hydrogen value chain, the factors driving success in this emerging market and the company’s objectives for its participation in the summit. Dos Santos also explores how the Southern African region can create and stimulate a green hydrogen offtake market and build sustainable demand to support the energy transition.

The Global African Hydrogen Summit is expected to attract leading players from across the continent to collaborate on opportunities in green hydrogen production, infrastructure and export potential.
