The design portrays Mercury, born Farrokh Bulsara in Zanzibar in 1946, at the height of his powers as the flamboyant frontman of Queen. Besides his signature, the coin depicts Mercury’s four-octave vocal range with a musical stave that spans from bass to treble notes.
