Actum Group has announced that it has bought specialised steel wire rope supplier G Twaddle & H Engelbrecht with effect from August 1, 2023.

G Twaddle & H Engelbrecht is a specialised supplier of steel wire rope, lashing and lifting equipment to the general engineering and mining industries. G Twaddle & H Engelbrecht has grown to become one of the largest stockists of steel wire rope in Southern Africa since its establishment 35 years ago. It is respected throughout the industry for providing customised solutions and quality products.

The Actum Group is an importer and distributor of a broad range of specialised, high-quality, branded industrial and electronic products in the Southern African region. The business has experienced technical team leaders offering solutions in the following product categories:

The business will be incorporated as a division of Actum Industrial (Pty) Ltd with effect from September 1, 2023, and will continue to offer customised wire rope solutions from its Heriotdale production facility, along with the Actum Group’s Vereeniging production facility and Linbro Park customer service and distribution centres.
