Project Owner/s
Independent power producer Mulilo, in partnership with H1 Capital.

Project Description
The project is one of the first in South Africa to achieve financial close under an energy aggregator model, with Etana Energy as the offtaker.

The 105 MW (75 MW/ac) solar facility will generate an estimated 248 GWh/y of electricity.

The facility will be one of four Mulilo plants connected to the Kestrel main transmission substation. This substation, developed by Mulilo, has unlocked critical grid capacity in a key solar resource region, ensuring more efficient integration of renewable energy into the national grid.
