Second edition of the International Infrastructure & Invest Convention to focus on exploring home-grown solutions for Africa’s infrastructure challenges. One of the sectors most dependent on infrastructure developments in Africa continues to be the extractive industries. In order to attract increased private investment into these sectors, their downstream industries as well as other manufacturing activity, high costs of doing business in and between African economies need to be addressed through adequate and reliable transport, power and water infrastructure.
Under the theme “African Solutions for African Challenges” the second edition of the International Infrastructure & Invest Convention 2014 will analyse current plans, project developments and progress, as well as the outlook for the region’s transport, power and water infrastructure sectors.
