Gautrain reports clean audit for thirteenth consecutive year
The Gautrain Management Agency (GMA) reports that it has achieved its thirteenth consecutive clean audit for the 2024/25 financial year.
“This achievement reflects the GMA’s consistent and disciplined approach to financial management and commitment to clean administration,” says GMA chairperson Professor Mfanelo Ntsobi.
The agency is transparent, accountable and responsibly manages public resources, which will continue to underpin every aspect of its operations, he adds.
Further, the GMA continues to deliver strong operational performance, having achieved train service availability of 99.51% in the 2024/25 reporting period, while punctuality reached 97.57%.
It also secured standard development organisation International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) certification for its Integrated Management System. The GMA is now fully certified in Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001).
The certifications reflect the GMA's dedication to continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and world-class operational performance, he says.
“The GMA remains committed to upholding the highest standards of governance and service delivery, while fostering public confidence in the management of the Gautrain as a strategic asset.”
