Project Description
The project comprises up to 9 GW of solar and wind energy, and 4 GW of electrolysis capacity by 2030. The project is expected to produce more than one-million tonnes of renewable ammonia by 2030, with a focus on the European market.

The hub will be delivered in four phases.

Phase 1 will include up to 800 MW of electrolysis, together with 1.1 GW solar photovoltaic energy, and a 284 MW onshore wind and energy storage system.

The total investment is estimated to exceed €10-billion, to produce more than one-million tonnes of green hydrogen and green ammonia by 2030.

A final investment decision on Phase 1 is expected in early 2025 and full operation in the second half of 2027.
