Industry Leaders Gather to Champion Sustainability and Worker Safety

HJS South Africa, the latest branch of the globally renowned HJS Emission Technology, is set to officially launch on 21 February 2025 with an exclusive golf day event at the prestigious Rustenburg Golf Club, North-West. This by-invitation-only gathering will bring together key stakeholders from the mining, construction, and logistics sectors to explore the future of emission technologies and their critical role in ensuring sustainable and safe industrial practices.

With the increasing emphasis on environmental responsibility and workplace safety, HJS South Africa introduces solutions tailored to meet the challenges of today’s industries. From innovative Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) systems to catalytic converters, HJS South Africa is poised to become a trusted partner for businesses striving for compliance to exhaust emission standards and sustainability through lowering the impact of emissions on the environment and people.

  • Mr. Robin Trompetter, CEO and Mr. Dirk Maiworm, Sales Director of HJS Emission Technology Germany. Both executives will offer insights into HJS’s global mission to drive sustainable innovation in emission technology.
  • Dr. Amu Modau, Operations SHERQ Manager, ARM Platinum and Coal. Dr. Modau will deliver a keynote address on “The Importance of Emission Technologies in Worker Safety and Mining Sustainability.” With extensive experience in implementing health, safety, and environmental risk strategies, Dr. Modau will highlight how advanced emission systems protect workers and contribute to a sustainable future for mining operations. •
  • Ms. Constance Kekana, Director: Occupational Hygiene at the Department of Minerals Resources, South Africa. Ms. Kekana will attend the event representing the mining sector on a governmental level.
