From Creamer Media in Johannesburg, this is the Real Economy Report.

Sashnee Moodley:

Hydrogen-powered vehicles and plants of the future will require hydrogen fuel, which is made using an electrolyser. As South Africa looks to introduce hydrogen powered engines, the need for local hydrogen production will also become important. Creamer Media’s Donna Slater recently visited Randburg-based Hydrox Holdings.

With its locally developed advanced alkaline electrolyser, the company is looking to secure its place in the industry by tweaking its technology and offering units to meet domestic demand for hydrogen.

Hydrox holdings lead process engineer Jason Cuomo speaks to Creamer Media’s Donna Slater about these developments.
