With African laboratories under increasing pressure to deliver reliable results while meeting global standards, laboratory equipment manufacturer IKA Works is positioning its latest technologies as a solution to common challenges around efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
The company is highlighting its latest technologies at analytica Lab Africa 2025, reaffirming its commitment to supporting Africa’s evolving scientific and industrial sectors. Speaking to Engineering News, IKA Works Kenya sub-Saharan Africa sales director Peter Ngugi emphasised the company's focus on helping laboratories streamline workflows, enhance reproducibility and maintain strict quality control through digital integration, automation and precision engineering.
At this year’s event, IKA showcased a range of equipment, including stirrers, mixers, shakers, homogenisers, mills, rotary evaporators and calorimeters. These products support critical laboratory functions such as mixing, heating, distilling and crushing, providing robust and efficient solutions for research and development across industries.
Ngugi highlights Africa as a strategic growth market for IKA.
Participation in analytica Lab Africa 2025, hosted at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, is central to IKA’s growth strategy.
