Bulldog inclined vibrating screens from Carman Process Engineering (CPE) are said to offer the lowest cost per ton for the separation of a variety of materials.

The screens’ exceptional efficiency is attributed to the tri-directional action of the vibration stroke. Material is fed onto the screen surface where most particle stratification takes place, and the elliptical stroke helps to accelerate the material flow. As the material moves forward to the centre of the screen surface, the stroke converts to a circular action, increasing the material’s retention time and further increasing the stratification of the material.

Once the material reaches the discharge end of the screen, the stroke converts back to an elliptical motion thereby increasing the material’s retention time and allowing it to obtain the most efficient particle separation on the vibrating screen.

Bulldog inclined vibrating screens feature a range of benefits, including:

  • Single heavy-duty excitor vibratory motor that produces direct vibration power
  • Robust steel construction with minimum number of moving parts, for easier and lower maintenance
  • Single vibratory drive, with no belts or shafts
  • Single and multi-deck arrangements available
  • Capacity of up to 300 t/h at low-power use
  • Vibratory motor can run flow/contra-flow, tri-directional screen action for positive and efficient screening
  • Choice of screen cloths available
  • Woven wire, poly panels or perforated plate
  • Innovative design makes for easy replacement of screen cloths with minimum down-time
  • Screen mounted on steel coil isolation springs, designed to give very high degree of isolation of vibration to surrounding structures
  • Screen can be installed at angle of decline of between 10° and 20°

CPE boasts a large selection of vibrating screens for any level of duty and application.
