Latest utility vehicle enters the market
A new compact utility vehicle designed to meet the needs of a range of industries, including construction, logistics, and trades such as electrical and solar companies, has been launched.
The DFSK K01S bakkie is designed to be versatile, rugged and fuel-efficient. It is powered by a DK12-10 petrol engine and is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 110 km/h. The four-cylinder, in-line, four-stroke, water-cooled engine boasts 65 kW of power and a maximum torque of 115 Nm. The vehicle has a 5-speed manual transmission with a rear-wheel-drive configuration to ensure traction on both urban roads and rugged terrain.
The vehicle aims to maximise both operational savings and environmental sustainability, with a fuel consumption rate of 7.1 ℓ/100 km and a 40 ℓ fuel tank capacity. The cargo area measures 2 700 mm x 1 140 mm x 370 mm and has a carrying capacity of 985 kg.
The robust chassis and independent suspension, including MacPherson independent front suspension and MacPherson 5-leaf rear springs, is designed to provide agility and comfort on rough roads and the ability to carry heavy loads. The bakkie’s middle-engine rear-drive configuration is designed to ensure stability, while its electric power steering aims to enable easy manoeuvrability in tight spaces. A standard ventilation system, radio and electric windows add to driver comfort.
The DFSK K01S comes with a comprehensive 1-year/30 000 km warranty and extended warranty options are available.
