Consumer packed goods manufacturer Libstar will this year showcase a variety of products from its Cecil Vinegar, Cape Foods, Cape Herb & Spice, Montagu Foods, Ambassador, Rialto and Amaro Foods businesses at the biennial Salon International de l'alimentation (SIAL) 2024 event, in Paris, France.

SIAL has been a premier global event for 60 years, bringing together food industry professionals to discuss and explore food-related developments.

The event will be hosted from October 19 to 23.

Libstar exports its products to more than 60 countries globally, with these exports being valued at more than R1-billion.

Europe, in particular, accounts for 15% of Libstar’s global market.

“SIAL offers us an exceptional platform to showcase Libstar’s established export capabilities and innovative product solutions. We are looking forward to presenting our diverse product portfolio that taps into current consumer trends, to an international audience,” says Libstar brand and trade marketing manager Kirsten Paul.

She adds that Libstar serves as a comprehensive one-basket solution, offering an extensive array of capabilities through its diverse category solutions.

Libstar aims to have SIAL delegates become more aware of Libstar’s commitment to innovative and high-quality food products that meet global standards, as well as its ability to combine local market insights with a global perspective – which makes Libstar a trusted partner for international buyers and retailers.
