Project Owner/s
The project is wholly owned by Scatec and will be the designated engineering, procurement and construction company, as well as asset manager, and operations and maintenance service provider. Construction and operation of the power plants will be managed by Scatec’s company in South Africa.

Project Description
Scatec plans to build 120 MW solar photovoltaic facility that will be completed in two phases.

Financial close on the first phase was reached in December 2023.

The project will avoid the emission of an estimated 48 000 t/y of carbon dioxide emissions and power about 20 000 households a year.
