Engen has launched an advanced formulation of Engen Dieselube 700 Super, expertly engineered with upgraded CK-4 API technology, to provide core strength to counter harsh African conditions.

Engen Dieselube 700 Super’s upgrade from CI-4 Plus to CK-4 API technology is a boon for the agricultural sector, as it allows farmers to maximise the capabilities of their expensive agri-machinery.

“The new Engen Dieselube 700 Super is specifically engineered to deliver durability in the tough African climate, with the added benefit of extending your service intervals,” says Sharveen Maharaj, Engen’s head of Lubricants.

As a leading player in the agricultural sector, Engen’s local expertise and technical excellence consistently helps farmers withstand the heaviest workloads.

“We understand that farmers face tough challenges every single day - including harsh weather conditions, price fluctuation, and stiff competition - which is why we are committed to making life easier for our agricultural partners,” adds Maharaj.

“To help achieve this, our technologically advanced products have been developed to provide the best protection for farming equipment to help increase productivity and reduce costs.”

Engen’s advanced lubricant range tackles the following agricultural pain points:

High Investment: Modern agricultural machinery requires a significant upfront investment. The evolution of agri-tech has also equipped many of these machines with high-performance engines that work with various gearbox types.

Downtime: In South Africa, heat, dust, and water can compromise any machine. Effective lubrication ensures reduced maintenance costs, decreases overall operating costs, and extends the life of machinery.

Time Sensitivity: Not all farmers have access to sophisticated workshops and technicians to help quickly fix a fault. This means that the minute a machine stops working, there is no telling how long they will need to wait for aid – while the crop sits in the field, or the soil waits to be tilled.

Engen Dieselube 700 Super with CK-4 API technology enables agri-machinery to stay stronger for longer as the oil forms a uniquely strong fluid film, which sees robust molecule chains lock away soot to maintain optimal viscosity and defend against wear and oxidation, extending the oil’s efficiency right up to your engine’s next drain.

“Farmers look for core strength that they can trust because many of them face taxing schedules, difficult terrains, and challenging weather daily,” continues Maharaj, adding that “Engen Dieselube 700 Super will help enable their sophisticated agri-machinery to provide higher performance, aid reduced emissions and decrease down time.”
