Project Description
The OL3 nuclear power plant unit includes an EPR adjacent to the existing OL1 and OL2 units.
OL3 has an output of about 1 600 MW and produces about 13 TWh/y of electricity to meet about 14% of Finland's electricity demand.

Construction of OL3 started in 2005 and entered operation in 2023, significantly behind schedule.

TVO has completed its final acceptance – the final takeover – of Olkiluoto 3, based on the fulfilment of the terms and conditions in the plant supply contract.
