Project Description
Papago will be the largest energy storage project – at 1 200 MWh – in Arizona. It will dispatch enough power for about 244 000 homes for four hours a day.

Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to create 200 jobs during construction.

Capital Expenditure
Recurrent Energy secured $513-million in project financing in June 2024.

Planned Start/End Date
Construction is expected to start in the third quarter of 2024, with commercial operations targeted for the second quarter of 2025.
