Latest Developments
Red Rocket Energy has installed the 32 main turbines at the Brandvalley Wind Farm.

The wind turbines have been installed 17 months after construction started in 2023 and represents a major step towards reaching the commercial operations date, which is expected to be achieved in the fourth quarter.

The wind farm has a nameplate capacity of 144 MW and is located between Matjiesfontein and Sutherland.

Once operational, the wind farm will meet the energy needs of up to 183 000 households a year by generating 590 GWh/y and avoiding 620 000 t of CO2-equivalent each year.
