Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK), the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, today announced the appointment of Rodrick Naidoo as cluster director for English-speaking Africa.

In this role, Rodrick will lead sales operations in several key markets across the continent, including South Africa, Nigeria, Angola, Ghana, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Zambia. He will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

“English-speaking Africa is a strategic region for us, with tremendous opportunities across energy, mining, manufacturing, and infrastructure,” said Ediz Eren, regional vice president, Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa, Rockwell Automation. “As these industries accelerate their digital transformation, we see great potential to support their growth with our leading digital technologies and expertise. Rodrick’s proven leadership and deep customer insight will ensure we continue to deliver world-class solutions that drive efficiency, sustainability, and innovation. We are confident that under his leadership, Rockwell will further strengthen its presence and partnerships across the region.”

Rodrick brings more than 18 years of experience in sales and leadership across a variety of industries including oil & gas, mining, and other process solutions sectors. Prior to rejoining Rockwell Automation, he served as commercial director at eXess Africa. His previous positions at Rockwell Automation included roles as sales manager and account manager, also based in Johannesburg.

As cluster director, Rodrick will be responsible for driving strategic growth, enhancing sales discipline, and strengthening customer and partner relationships across the region. His deep market knowledge, customer-centric approach, and proven leadership make him well-suited to lead the cluster sales team and advance Rockwell Automation’s mission of helping customers optimize their production, empower their workers, build resilience, and accelerate their digital transformation.

“I am honored to return to Rockwell Automation and take on this exciting leadership opportunity,” Naidoo said. “It’s a privilege to work alongside such passionate and talented teams. I look forward to collaborating with our customers, partners and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and accelerate growth across Africa.”
